Another fun and exciting time was held over 30th June to 10th July, for school children Prep to Yr6. The winter coolness and rainy elements did not stop the children and staff from the Holiday Wellbeing Program exploring, creating and mastering new skills. It was yet again another successful program, thanks to the children attending, the causal staff involvement and the great community support we receive.
Highlights from June/July Program 2025
Cooking up a storm with pizza swirls, making waterless aquarium from recycled glass jars. A visit to our fantastic local museums. Creating abstracted master pieces of artwork from items collected from the op shop. Designing a card and visiting the local Australia Post to physically post a “loving card” to family members. Being amazed by the Cyclorama and learning about some of Norfolk’s valuable history, along with exploring the Queen Victoria Garden next to it. Having a special book reading from our special “Mother Goose – Zena” at the local library. Busting a groovy move with learning some new dace styles and rhythm movement with our young causal staff and enjoying a movie with a hot chocolate, marshmallow and popcorn.
A massive thank you to the incredibly generous individuals, families, and businesses who helped make the Holiday Wellbeing Program such a success:
