Description: The Sensory Room is made up of various items that will awaken all senses whilst providing a safe, non-invasive environment that assists with a wide range of mental health, developmental and neurological disorders.
Sensory rooms provide a “safe haven” for people and have been shown to have a calming effect which can facilitate therapy and learning as well as assist with self-management of various potentially adverse behaviours.
The room boasts a massage chair, a projector with nature based special effect wheels, a Bluetooth speaker, a mobile phone with access to the internet, lava lamps, an essential oil diffuser and many sensory stimulating other effects.
